African Kingdoms’ Day

Yesterday was African Kingdoms’ Day. Everyone came in to school dressed in traditional African clothing or colours of African flags. Each year group explored a different African Kingdom throughout history, such as Benin, Zimbabwe, Kush and Aksum. Throughout the day, classes located their kingdom on a giant map and discovered different artefacts used by the people. After school, parents were challenged to complete a map of Africa in the playground.
