Links With Parents & Families
We know that the most successful education takes place when parents/carers, staff and governors all work together. Parents and carers can be involved with the whole school community in a variety of ways.  These include attending:

  • Morning workshops on how to help your child at home
  • Stay and Play events in EYFS
  • Family learning events in KS1 and KS2
  • Class assemblies
  • Parent consultations
  • Themed events

And supporting:

  • Completion of homework
  • E-Safety guidance at home
  • Fund raising events

The school communicates with families in a variety of ways including:

  • Weekly newsletters
  • Texting service
  • Our website
  • Marvellous Me

Secondary School Links
We work in partnership with our local secondary schools. This goes beyond the usual activities around transition and extends in to other projects.  For example, Bridge Academy run a coding club for our KS2 children which is very successful.

International Links
As part of our curriculum, we aim to develop children’s awareness of global issues. From time to time, children make links with schools and communities in different parts of the world. We are currently building links with a international school.
